always blew up :' but i always have the odd APC actually run over my mine without blowing up

I've driven over mines once or twice that didn't go off at all but I think they might have been friendly mines with the skull and crossbones not showing (happens to clays too when they've been down a long time, or something).

Yes, I've also had one expload and not kill me... actually, I have had 3 in a row expload and not kill me.

i have had that happen with claymores but not mines. I will be at full health not see a claymore and see it blow up then i have 1 bar of health.

Engineers can defuse mines. It takes 3 clicks of the wrench to pick one up. If you are in a vehicle as engineer and have the wrench selected, you can usually drive over a mine and either pick it up or the mine blows and you are unharmed. I have tested it a couple times, but it may not always work. I really hate in Kubra when I mine the lower dam and a jeep drives through and removes 3 mines and then takes the flag. After it happens once, I usually go to spec ops if I plan to stay at the lower dam.
