BF2S Forums vehicle whores, why do some people hate them so much?

saying '* whore' is a way for people to justify being killed, rather than accepting and adapting to their situation.

i guess you could call me a vehicle whore as well because i have a large percentage of my kills with vehicles.... however, thats not the term i would use. i dont stand at the spawn points waiting for vehicles, if it's not there, i move one. i also will never tk for a vehicle. if you beat me to it, ok, im moving on. the term id use for someone like me is "vehicle inclined".... the people who do the above are the whores. i can ground pound with the best of them, but i prefer to be in a vehicle.

Well, the argument there is that people can't play the way they want when armor and flight completely dominates the field.  Sometimes I'd like to use more kits more often, but there's no point on some levels when I know sooner or later, there's going to be something I can't deal with using only bullets.  But I don't blame vehicle whores for that, I blame EA for making all of the anti-vehicle weapons so useless.  Anti-TANK isn't even a guaranteed kill on a HUMMER, so you can imagine how well it fares against actual tanks and APCs.  TOW missles have the power, but everyone knows where they are, same with stationary AA.  Except Stationary AA takes more shots than TOW to take down intended targets, and said targets have counter-measures...any pilot who's worth a damn can kill you or be out of range by the time his counter-measures hit the ground.  Even Mobile AA will lose to a great pilot the majority of the time, and Linebacker is my favorite vehicle in the game.  If EA made the anti vehicle measures more effective, less people would be willing to armor/pilot whore, and being an infantry unit would be much more fun.  I like rolling vehicles...about 43% of my kills come from them, but I still feel it's too easy for them to dominate, through spawnkilling, or just having supply/engineer/UAV support to make them gods.  Me and my friends recently started using the strategy of all being engineers, and then all getting in all the vehicles we can, sticking close together.  Makes the people in armor and helicopters a minor deity, and makes a lot of people wanna vote kick you, but you're technically not cheating.

I love planes and tanks/apcs. People always complain that i'm in a tank. Probably because i enjoy spawn raping but oh well. My team always wins

Or he could play CS 1.6, seeing as how CS 2.0 takes less skills then my nuts on the keyboard typing.

If I wanted to use my gun only, id've bought CSS for 30$ less. Vehicles is what separates bf2 from the rest

I don't hate vehicle h0's, I can take out any h0, no matter how good they think they are. but I hate everything they say and do, their whole mentality, coz you gotto be brain dead not to realise how cheap it is. To justify it is even dumber!

A low ranker farming in a vehicle is ok, but the high rank h0's are just weak.

Also, arguing that BF isn't CS is too extreme, because the availablity of tanks doesn't mean you have to live in them...

So, if its so easy why dont go and make it litle bit harder for them?
If you hate armors: go and play AT/SpecOp/Engy.

Everyone always complains about AT being too weak instead of playing it properly, too many times i've seen 2 AT guys of 32 team members trying to stop 4 armors all alone. In my opinion even 16/32 going AT isnt too much (if other 16 isn't snipers), less if your tanks try to deal with enemys tanks instead of raping infantry.

I also hate armor whores sometimes, not for using armors but for how they use them. If tank just whores points in karkand main street (while enemy armor does that on next street) instead of trying to support infantrys then feel free to hate tank whore.

And for infantrys: if theres tank trying to help you, dont leave it alone, tank alone (without UAV) is free frag for secop guy.
