Is this wrong? When i spawn and get shoot by some little snipper a 1/4 mile away i get reasnobly pissed off.

There is a majour difference with vechile spawn camping and kit spawn camping... Im say on some servers its ok too use kit weapons only but no vechiles.. I think its just as bad...Konfusion0 wrote:

I don't find spawncampers to be too much of a problem, as long as their numbers are small, the only time I'll get annoyed is if a whole squad is spawncamping the same small section.

Now adays pilots are not allowed to die unless there in the air.. this is another reason to not respect pilots. they make up there own rules so they can be the "elite".. most pilots cant defend themselves with a gun so they need there aircraft..
Saying you cant even use kit weapons in the uncappable is complete crap. a bunch of little bitches crying about dying. Ive been a spec op blowing up commander assets, killing pilots that spawn and kicked from the server.. im sorry i didnt know i wasnt allowed to defend myself.. "oh but you spawn camped"... I'm sorry i didnt know i was supposed to let the enemy see me before i killed them.. I'm sure you do that to right? I'm sure every sniper tells the enemy "hey im over here" right before he pulls the trigger..
PILOTS NEED THERE SAFE ZONE BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT INFANTRY.... most do any way..

I don't see a problem using whatever you want at an UCB. People say it is wrong or non-skilled but I say it was probably your fault that you were put in that situation in the first place. I enjoy servers that do not have a no UCB rule because it is just better. Not being restricted with silly rules such as this makes for a more enjoyable game. If a sniper can get you then you were very unlucky to spawn in at the exact spawn spot he was covering, or more than likely you were standing still for to long.
There are too many opinions of what is fair and what is not in this game and there are hundreds of subtle combinations of things to make up rules for everything.
But i think a sniper is playing his kit correctly even if he takes you out at a spawn point.

Agreed, I don't mind if I'm spawning in and get taken out by a sniper. He's got to be pretty good to get a decent shot off in that short time.

I truly enjoy spawn camping the Essex as a sniper when playing Dragon Valley. It pisses the pilots off so much that they only come searching for little ol' me. And not out doing their job of wrecking every one elses day by spawn camping them selves.

i most cases the sniper class is defenders...... they are not in the "hot zone" around tanks, they are having the best place near a flag etc. where they can defend.

Very true, I got kicked from a Sharqi map because I was blowing up some enemy arty in that field right next to the UCB, I was taking fire so I went in and started mowing people down and I get kicked for spawn camping. If the server rules say no uncapable spawn raping, don't do it. You will be kicked/banned
If the server rules don't mention it you shouldn't get kicked for doing it or complain (too much) for recieving it.
Generally my point is there are lots of servers so go play on the ones that have the rules you want to play by.

I have found that most people complain about tactics that pwn them. In the beginning I hated bunny-hopping but now I don't because I can deal. I don't do it myself but it doesn't bother me when someone else does. I thought cartillery was shitty at first until I did it as commander and now I love it. My philisophy is that a good player can adapt and overcome tactics thrown by other players.
Therefore, I have started a Ranked BF2 cage match server with "No rules". Cheating/Glitching/Stats Padding/Violations of EA's ROE are not allowed but everything else is.
Spawn camping...OK!
Bunny Hopping...OK
Base Raping...OK!
Arty on Uncaps...OK!
C4 Jihad...OK!
Cartillery...OK! (they'll nerf it next patch anyway)
Commanding while Flying/tanking/fighting...OK!
Smack Talk...OK! Up to a point anyway.
Landing a helicopter on someone, jumping out, gunning down the rest of his squad and defiling the bodies while screaming that you are the Lizard King...OK!
It is also an 8v8 on 64 maps, which is my favorite format. It will rotate between AF and SF with the occasional Vanilla thrown in.
