So I've just downloaded EF and am trying to join a server, when the server finishes loading instead of letting me into the game it dumps me back on the server screen and tells me this server only allows players with unmodified content to join. I'm running a clean install of BF2 with 1.3 AF and EF, normal BF2 maps and AF maps work fine but for some reason EF won't lemme play?

any suggestions?

ive tried running local severs as well on EF maps, this time I get a crash to desktop as soon as the map loads

You need to patch after you've installed EF. The EF download isn't up to date with 1.3.

You'll probably have to reinstall BF2, then EF, then Patch 1.3, then AF.

Where does SF fit into the whole palaver of installations and patches?  Since I did the incremental patch and had to re-install everything, I haven't been able to do EF or SF.
