Yeah, use F11 as well. It helped me.

That's how I aim, seems to work well. Just as the target comes to the little cross at the bottom of the reticle, I drop 'em. Speed can affect this quite a bit though.
I find the best drops at full speed, no afterburner, about 200 units high (not sure if it measures yards or feet).
High altitude dive bombing can be effective too and very accurate.
Go very high over the target and dive straight down on him and bombs away. Very effective for anti-air since they can't look straight up.
If your out of bombs, a missle can work at closer ranges, though it is tricky.
I use missles as a last resort for land stuff.

Most Impotant tip: DO NOT drop bombs on a target on the first pass. Do a fly over to check for friendlies FIRST....then come back and bomb. Doing this also gives you a good chance to spot enemies.
Often times a friendly is nearby attacking the target...make absoloutely sure there's no friendlies around...they will (justifiably) punish you for killing them and depriving them of their kill.

There are two basic bombing methods:
dive bombing (come down in a steep dive directly at target, release bombs and pull up sharply);
low-level bombing (fly along fairly low and level and drop them when you judge the moment is right).

Both of these just take practice to master so I'd recommend you find some empty servers to practice on. The good thing is there is no shortage of empty Wake and Dalian Plant servers to pick from on the average day

Once you can get the bombs to take out what you're aiming at without any threats to worry about then move to servers with fewer players and build from there.
