i seen some lady on tv the other day, she was some sort of gaming representative and she claimed that there are more female gamers over 18 than male gamers under 18... now i realise tv is often wrong but still an interesting thought... but they probably count solitaire at the reception desk as gaming larffff
I really don't see a big deal with being killed by a girl. An online player is just that...an online player. Doesn't matter if you are a girl or not. If you are a good player, your gender doesn't really matter.

I've been dumped by my girl several times over this damn game. I like to play it. Too much really. In fact I'd even go as far as to say, I'd rather play BF2 I've tried to get her to play by going to empty servers and having her try her hand at flying helos and jets but she sucked so she didn't want to play anymore. She lives in Snohomish County so I was like "I'm King_County_Downy, you could be the "Sno_Ho_Ho". That didn't fly over too well.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
She is into and enjoys most games, but i have yet to get her into the on-line experience.
Hmm, get wife playing BF2, will need to build a new PC to play at the same time, and if i am patient she might even think its her idea.

I think its great to see girls in the game. Something that can be done together. For some, its the only interaction with females they get. My sister plays and does a great job as Commander. It is great to play and see people get pissed when they get killed and are loosing to a girl commander. It is a requirement on my checklist in a woman. But thats just me.... Beats the hell out of playing bingo

She hated calling me and finding out Im playing 1942 and she was like "PAY ATTENTION TO ME" cause I really feel bad for her cause her parents hated her as did her sisters, and I tried all I could to keep her from not killing herself, and I paused my game (or went afk in my sniping spot) and I talked to her, but she just couldnt get rid of the fact that I was playing games instead of thinking about her. Now she's got a boyfriend who looks just like me, even I cant tell the difference.

Girls in the BF2 community are good. Makes for a lot of low ranked/naive people in the game to stop doing what they are doing and start typing to her. *boom* headshot. I had one girl in my squad and she was really good. She covered me and spotted and generally kept up with the game. But she kept getting hassled that she couldnt read half of my squad talks to her "sweep around when we attack surv post" would be blocked out by "LOL ANY PIX?". A cunning war strategy...
