I found this link on BFTEST servers

http://www.triniti.co.uk/Demos/

it contains a bunch of .bf2demo files like:

http://www.triniti.co.uk/Demos/auto_200 … bf2142demo
http://www.triniti.co.uk/Demos/auto_200 … 22.bf2demo

does anybody know what these are?  boris?

Demo files are Battlerecorder files. They won't work if you don't have the map they were recorded on.

I think demo recordings work regardless of what map it was played on, as far as I know you can download them files and run them from ingame to watch the recording :-) I could be wrong bro asnd M_Harrower  could be right :-)

AFAIK the Battlerecorder files are just a long script of what happened on the map... BF2 loads the map and essentially acts it out. That's why the files are like 10MB rather than being 100MB movies.

Well, I tryed to send a demo of SF to a friend, who didn't have it, so he could see what the maps were like...it didn't work for me, but try it for yourself INCSOC. It may have just been a bad file.

Well i don't have access to bf2 at the moment.  Does anybody want to try these? I'm guessing they're recordings of the new Jalalabad map
