i have a 128mb ati9500. (yes let the bashing begin!) i obviously want to upgrade and see that after rebates (on newegg) that there are a few video cards for about $100 that look quite impressive. ie, nvidie 6800. please post links or advice on video cards. the cheaper the better of course. please help.

I got an above-requirement ATI card for about $100. It's the ATI Radeon 9550. Go check your local BestBuy for it, that's where I found mine!
ATi Radeon 9600 is what I have, got it for 60 bucks.
try ATi X600 or X800, they are capable of 6x AA no probs n I run bf on full settings except dynamic lighting without lag, also goood view distances
