Ok...weve all bin in this situation wheres theres a clay around the corner and no one to detonate it . Well...since clays blow up when something goes infront of it. Why cant we just chuck a nade or something like that, have a "claymore removal thingy" to just throw infront of it. that would be so pwnage.
maybe wrenches can remove them from behind im not sure
yes u can remove claymores with a rench as long as u dont run infront of it. I have done this when a sniper dropped a claymore infront of me and bolted round the corner. i just stood still, pulled out my rench and removed it like u would to an AT mine. kinda usefulwahjot wrote:

oh yea they actually do kill team-mates. it just depends if the sever has FF on or not, same with AT mines and C4(not entirely sure bout C4 though) is FF is on you can team kill with them, if FF's off you cantBattlefield2Player wrote:
I agree, there's nothing more irritating than running into a claymore in an alleyway (especially on Karkand). In my opinion, they should make it so that claymores kill friendlies as well as enemies. Explosives should "get rid of" claymores.
You cant have no FF for C4. It will always kill teammates. Claymore can be deactivated by wrenches by behind.jax wrote:

Yep... the wrench is your personal Jesus. It'll disarm a claymore (or any explosive) provided you are behind it. I swear that thing is more useful than any gun BF2 unlocks!

Oh, THATS why everyone has been whining about clays. All the servers I play on have mine ff on, so theres ALWAYS a 50% chance that whenever I drop one ANYWHERE ON THE MAP that a friendly will run in front of itBattlefield2Player wrote:

Worse still is killing the damn sniper, who plants a claymore at your feet with his dying breath. Can't run. Can't hide and as the piss drips down your pants the damn thing goes off.
lol, agreed.DaReJa wrote:

Yup I placed two before on Karkand I got 2 Teamkills for it... Sigh...
In my experience, you can jump OVER a clay without it going off in your face.
I'm a sniper most of the time, but my hobby is chasing down other snipers for my teammates. Claymore at the top of the ladder = no way around. But people have this odd habit of planting claymores at the bottom of ladders. In that case, I can usually approach it at an angle, jump, and hit the ladder above the claymore without it going off.
Problem is, with the crazy range Clays have, in an alleyway situation you're pretty much SOL.

and then you hunt down the sniper and once you kill him take his kit and place the remaining claymore on his chest. alot more fun than teabagging and i think it gets the point across betterjax wrote:

Haha, did that once, and a medic came along and revived the poor fool. The two got up and ran off... *boom*BolvisOculus wrote:

It is so much worse how the claymores have a habbit of 'playing' with you ,making you feel save when your F@#$&ed. You turn around the corner, there is a claymore staring at you, you stare back, it doesn't blow. Take one step back......
