Just logged into a server and everytime I spawned I was prone and could not stand up.  Crawled to a mounted machine gun and entered it, I could not see over the emplacement or fire the gun but when I exited the machine gun emplacement I was no longer prone.  Strange thing though, the next time I proned, once again I could not get back up from prone.  Additionally, if I hit the J, K, or L key to type in text I immediately stood up (but of course I could not move).  As soon as I exited the text mode I found myself prone again.  I don't know if you've ever tried to crawl from the suburbs to the hotel but it's really not that cool.

I left the server, joined a new one but had the same problem again.

Anyone ever had this happen to them?

Wow...I've never even heard of that.  Sorry I can't help dude, just try a different server.

Resest all your keys to default.. maybe u or someone accidentaly changed the controls

Has happened to me aswell on two occations. Simple fix for me was to restart the game, its the kind of things you expect with EA and a patch like 1.3 though. Bugs and server crashes are the norm.

its your keyboard when it happens to me i just spam the buttons and it fixes

I tried moving in a tank then a vehicle then on foot, was stuck in place, rejoined the server & it was fine.

If it's happening to others, it's not likely to be a keyboard problem.  What are the chances we all had the same keyboard problem that just magicaly goes away at some point?

yea, its definitely either your keyboard or your controls...Sometimes, one of my keys lock, so i just press a bunch of keys including the one its pressing (in your case prone) and it gets fixed

only instance that ive heard related to this is when people spawn and they can go prone, stand or crouch, fire any of their weapons but they can move from the spot they spawned

Yeah, I've got stuck in the map a few times like that but never had it at spawn........
