I had to pause the server and spam over admin message for them to balance the teams. Whoever it was that passed that stuff off as 'smart' and 'auto' should be hung by his testicles and forced to suck Zarqawi's dick.

I've run into this before, the settings which I've found work the best are:

Miscellaneous: Auto-balance Teams -> Off
Auto Admin: Enable Smart Balance -> On  and set threshold to two.

oh auto admin evens the teams up, unlike !ab which just sets it from 6v4 to 5v5 am I right there ?

Mind you there is one server I go on and all the clan are one side 30 of them, and yet for like 6-9 rounds straight they lose !!! From 30 people who never played together bar a few.
