I have a problem with BF2. My game and screen momentarily freezes up for about 4 or 5 seconds, and then that causes me to get shot and die. Whats causing this freezeup? I have a pentium 4 3.0 GHz, 1 gig of ram, and a Radeon X800 Pro. I shouldn't be having this problem. I also have a cable connection. Whats wrong?
Not enough RAM,BF2 uses about 1.3 Gigabyte of RAM,so with 1 gig you are going to have some hardware lags once in a while(depending on your graphics settings).
I upgraded to 2GB of RAM and there are no more "freezeups",at least not hardware-related ones.

More RAM=less hits on the paging file.
Also, I had xfire do this to me once. The screenshot key is scroll lock - s, seems scroll lock was toggled and every time I tried to back up... screenshot, pause, death... Irritating.
