What's up with the teamwork lately? It seems like in the past few days that it's impossible to find a squad who even stays together. Everybody forms their own squads thinking others will join but they never do. Nobody sticks together and there's just nobody who will stop and help you when needed. Just now I was on a server with about 40 people on it. Most of the people were in the big firefight in the middle but the few that split off to capture the other points ran off in their own directions, they didn't even stick together. Then I spawn at the first point at Karkand thinking there will be a vehicle for me to use but no, so I start running. One respawns when I'm half way down the road and I see a teammate driving it up the road. I stop in the middle of the road staring at him and what does he do? He honks his horn and drives around me. What the hell? Where has all the teamwork gone in the past few days? I noticed it slowly going away a few weeks ago but these past few days has just been awful.
Haven't seen my squad in the game.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
I'll do a little of both. Sometimes, I just start a squad and if someone wants to join me, go right ahead. I'll follow commander orders, and I'll pass them on to the squad if I have one. If I get squad members, I'll start holding back, and be a good spawnpoint for them. If I'm just a squad member, I'll try to do whatever the SL says to do. I rarely do lone wolf though. I prefer to be in a empty squad at least, so I can ask for things as needed.
Because EA's idea of increased 'squad team work' makes it way to difficult to join and leave squads so if you join a crap on in the beginning of a round your stuck with it. Now most people join squads to get 'squad time', not to help. All to often your squad leader dies and you can't spawn on him so your squad ends up scattered about map and rarely helps each other.
Before 1.3 you could create a squad and people would join and spawn on you to help you out because you are in a good strategic position. But now its too hard to change squads to help the TEAM!!! and if someone tries its usually takes too long and then they cant change back etc etc. So no one bothers anymore. EA put all this enforcive on working together as a squad and forgot its not a squad game but one with a whole team. Squads don't win the team does.

if you bought bf2 to experience great game play, go get your money back.. they only teamwork youll get is the bots. and they have a 0 iq.

I don't know. I have had great experiences lately. People squading up and playing together. Even using voip. Been going on the last couple weeks. Hope it turns around for ya. Maybe I have just gotten better at choosing the squads I join. I look to see if the squad is in one spot, or spread out.
