To me, karma on these forums is like the vehicle drop in bf2. worthless.

this site is great. dont get me wrong. but ever since the karma was introduced, the majority of threads go like this:

1st post:
Oh so yeah AA sucks, make it stronger. Oh bring back old BH FTW and another 4 paragraphs that took ages to write out

2nd post:
yeah I agree, blah blah blah few more paragraphs

3rd post:

and so on. Seeing things such as "PLZ GIVE +1 KARMA I WILL GIVE BACK" reminds me of those weirdos on myspace that say "GIVE ME PICTURE COMMENTS I WILL GIVE BACK". You might as well be saying, "YOU SUCK MY DICK, ILL SUCK YOURS"

seriously, anyone who asks for karma in their sigs is absolutely pathetic. I love this site, this is the only BF2 related website I ever go on and it'll stay that way, but seeing some people begging for karma makes me wonder.

Why do people care so much about karma? you're not going to become better at bf2. You're not going to get a better job. You're not going to get this or that.

I know I posted this in the wrong section, frankly because if I'd posted it in the proper section, nobody would have read it.

Really? My friend made a forum about 6 years ago and even that had karma. Alot of forums do, but not in such detail where you can leave a reason and stuff.

As I've said, this site is the best around but like bf2, there are some smacktards that ruin it sometimes.

I just think that karma should not be anonymous. If a person gives karma it should always include who gave it. I really don't care about karma, even though I do give it to some people. Actually, it's the people who say they don't care about karma who give it the most.

Agreed. But on the same note, why do people care about stats in BF2? Why do people care about awards and ribbons? Why do people care about ranks? It's just some meaningless little fun thing that add's a bit more personality to the site. It has a good personality and a bad one. Get around the forums and help people, or make some good funny threads or something and make some friends, your karma will rise on its own. Just ignore the people who abuse it.
