Who else absolutly loves this gun like me. I havent got the MG36 but want it so bad. Cuz otherwise i have to be MEC if i want to do well on support. I think this gun is better than the PKM by far. I can usually get about 30 kills is IAR with this gun.
I think the last patch may have done something to this gun in the patch or has it been like this all along.
Anyone else love this gun?

I like it's spray: Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta and a squad is down. It's also very accurate over a long distance.

The MG36 is a bit superior, in my opinion. I just feel it's shot placement is better and the feel of modern engineering is great!

the mg36 can't kill with one shot... the rpk-74 can. if you got the right "feeling" for this gun, you pwn hard. i aim for the head and release 2-3 shots as burst. imo the sights are nice.

It can only kill in one shot against non-armoured. The feel with the MG36 is just...godly.

imo it't can't! mg36 deals 30 damage, if you hit a 100% healthy, non-armoured target in it's head you'll send 30x3 dmg with this one bullet. not enough to kill.
rpk-74 does 35 dmg. so 105 dmg with a headshot.

Yeah, I have to agree with all of you. Lately, I've been using the RPK-74 alot more than any other support gun while playing as MEC. The range is very good, I got a few headshots on the people manning the SAW on the US spawn point in front of Hotel on Karkand.
