Do any of you think the medic gun is to powerful for its class and making them have infinite heal bags?? I think they should make medic a SMG like in BF1942 (MP40,MP18,Thompson) cause i like medic but sometimes i think the class is way to over powered cause of the weapon like the M16 is fine for medic but what other gun would they add if they did this cause then there wouldnt be alot of ppl using medic cause of te SMG(MP5,PP-19,Type96)
They have to have an assault rifle. None are overpowered. All weapons in the game are great if you know how to use them. It is all about the user.

I know but its the same weapon as assault without a gernadelauncher too many noobs play medic and it pisses me off i think they should make each class have special ablities like support can handle recoil better than another sniper is accurate and doesnt move scope alot medic can run the fastest but isnt that accurate etc

i can follow you on the infinite medic bags....... but then that should also be changed for the supplies.
but concerning the medic assault rifle i think it is alright..... maybe the ME C's AK101 is a little powerful, but still it is a fair game, but that is only my opinion.
but how about this. you get the medics to not have infinite medic bags and instead of long sprint distance then just short?

I say change the unlocks. It seems to me that a lot of the basic weapons are stronger or more accurate... the SAW (Support) is more accurate than the PKM, which is more powerful. The M4 (Spec Ops) is crazy compare to the unlocks.

Again, the sniper gun is prgrammed to be the most accurate gun so this is already in place, the 2nd suggestion is already possible with a mouse that lets you change resolution on the fly (like mine) so you can move it at normal spped for quick, wide-angled sniping and slower for narrow angled, slower moving shots.?? wrote:

With regards to running, medics already get more stamina than the other classes so although they can't run faster, they can run for longer. I'd also add that making them run faster would only push even more people to opt for the kit and vehicle whore would use it as an advantage to get to vehicles first at the start of the round (do we really want 10 medics al running for tank?)?? wrote:

there is some sense in what you are saying...... of course it is nice to raise in rank and get unlocks and so on, but ( this i only my opinion) there are to many weapon unlocks...... cant anything else be unlocked..... camouflage clothing or something.....

in bf2142 u can unlock different gernades and weapons 3/4 a active camo mines etc and 1/4 are guns
how about no UNLOCKS PERIOD like BF1942 i dont like unlocks they screw me up but since i fly now doesnt matter what kit

Taps his trusty M11-87. Although not the strongest weapon, or fastest I still own MEC ass on Iron Gator and many BF2 Vanilla maps.
I think that too many people complain about different weapons/vehicles being over powered, then EA/DICE decided to change things with the next patch and just ruin the game.
People complained about getting killed all the time by claymores from teamates, so EA/DICE changed this so that you can not be killed. But then in the process of this they decided to stop you being able to blow up a claymore with a granade, and this has now messed the game up even more than the fact that you could die from a teamates claymore.
You are complaining that a weapon is too powerful? so EA/DICE so change it and give them a water pistol instead? someone will only then come back the day after the next patch and complain that the Medic kit is useless now because you cant kill anyone with it!
just take BF2 for what it is, A GAME, and stop whining that something is not how it should be. maybe then EA/DICE would stop releasing poor patches which crash the game constantly.

I think you're right... medics IRL would be bloody amazing if they could take somebody who'd been hit with artillary, a tank, a bomb, or.. anything that would make them bleed to death or otherwise die NOT of a non-system-compromised cardiac arrest and make them all better again with defibulator paddles. Screw vietnam, modern medicine as we know it would be an entirely different ballgame. =p
There really are too many nubcakes that play medic, and the medic unlock being so good when after every kill a heal is at hand is a bit silly.
That said, I'm not sure I'd change medics heals... I'm more concerned with the infinite quick revive thing. They need to make the paddles take a LOT longer to recharge, or make it so a soldier could only be revived once "per life". I seem to run into a situation a few times a day where I'm trying to defend a CP against 3 or more guys in a squad who are all medics and often times you simply can't kill them because they just continually chain revive eachother. A lucky grenade seems to be the only solution to those guys.
G36E needs to do a little less damage. To add on that, pump shotguns should fire slightly faster and shotguns all together should be a little more accurate when you aim with them (except the DAO).

The weapons are all fine how they are...its time to give up on this nitpicking, fix the real issues like crashing, and just enjoy the game until the next big game comes out.
There's a strong feeling throughout that the Medic kit is just better equipped than the others, and in particular it makes the Assault kit look a bit under-par. Personally, I don't think it's too big a deal. The body armour and G3 make up for it, in my opinion, as those two together make you a hell of a lot better at killing infantry.
