People need to understand that if you disregard your stats, especially for those who feel that their in-game name is their identity, you will enjoy the game much more.

Most of the threats I see on forums and in game involve getting the other guys stats wiped.  If you don't play the game for stats you will find that no one can hold anything against you.

When my old account was wiped I actually gained interest in the game.  I found it fun to play again since you get more frequent occurances of medals with the lil' drum roll. 

After reaching Colonel I started to lose interest again.

So I am selling my account.

I started a new one and I actually find it more fun.

My advice to you.  Forget the stats and play the game.  I met a great group of guys while playing this game and I treasure the teamwork and fun we have over any digits or pretty pics of medals that don't exist or impact gameplay for that matter.

BUTLER...soon to be well...a different BUTLER.

FInally Nastie, you see the light..And I've noticed in-game your attitude has changed. Nicely done. I played with ya on a couple Karkand maps; I think it was Tigerland or Moongamers. You didn't talk shit like you usually do, well done. That's what I've always said, stats don't matter, people have different aspects on how they play the game, habits if you will; The only person that knows how good the other person is -- is himself, because only he knows if he got his "stats" legitly... I've seen alot of people rank up really fast by playing 32 man 64 map servers..too me: Too easy to get points, I like competition, thats why I stay out of vehicles, anyone can lay rapeage in a tank or plane. Just my opinion.

But good job Nastie...now if the rest of your |TOP| brethren can do the same.... You all need to start over and have a better image than the one you had.

Imdead you missed something there.....I am still cocky and find it the most fun to piss off other players, especially if they take themselves too seriously.   I still travel around with the same wolf pack and we still raid servers and take them completely over until they clear out then move on to the next.

My not caring about stats will actually make me worse. 

Not caring about resets will allow me to:

Stat Pad for fun and record it for my favorite website...www.statspadder.com for posterity.
Kidnap useless nubs that take themselves too seriously and ruin their stats "forever" in their mind.
Laugh at anyone who thinks that threatening me with a reset will disuade me from my terrorist activities.

See....a recent experience has taught me that this BF2 world is no different than any other gaming world.  There are cheaters everywhere and surprisingly enough a large number of them are "volunteer admins" for groups like BF2ranked servers or considered upstanding members of communities like this one. 

All the while EA's focus on curbing "statspadding"...what they consider a threat to the integrity of the game and their way of combating it.....by employing volunteer novices (and not EA employees) to police other players whilst ignoring the primary threat ...............HACKING............. sickened me to the point that I immediately put my account up for sale and want nothing to do with stats ever again. 

PS imdead I would also like to take the time to make fun of  your "community"  Team America....lamers...you SUCK.  lol.  Same BUTLER...see?
