I would like to know from admins or others who know what the common thresholds are for, Warning, Kicking, Banning people for these rules violations:

ROE "Hindering Teamwork" type violations for public players on clan/nonclan ranked servers-

TK  # before warning, # before kicking, # before banning
ITK  # before warning, # before kicking, # before banning

TK  ADMINs  # before warning, # before kicking, # before banning
ITK ADMINs  # before warning, # before kicking, # before banning

(TK - unintentional due to sloppy play, chaos, road kills, mates running/spawning into area/line-of-fire)
(ITK - Intentional Team Killing such as for vehicles/aircraft or exceeded pisstivity levels)

Unintentional TKing shouldn't get anyone kicked/banned. It happens to everyone.

Killing for vehicles gets an immediate warning. Doing it again gets you kicked, let someone who isn't an ass join instead. If they come back and carry on doing it, kick em again. A third time buys them a one way ticket to bansville

Fodder, are you saying this is what you do on your server?  a 1 + 1 + 1 threshold for ITK?

When you ban for ITK how long is it normally for? a day, week, permanent?

Yea, I agree with you.  You shouldn't get kicked at all for unintentional tk no matter what you're score is.  If it is unintentional, why get kicked right?

At some point, even accidental TK's deserve a kick.   Some players are just that bad.  =p

lol ya the sloppy players. I notice the longer in the server most peoples TKs start increasing.

But for the accidental at what point? 5, 10?  different if an admin is victim vs player?

Unacceptable accidental TK's:

1) Repeatedly running over friendlies in a vehicle.

2) Reapeated explosive-weapon TK's.  (4 Friendlies + 1 Enemy + Small group around flag + Tank Shell = Dumbass)




But for the accidental at what point? 5, 10?  different if an admin is victim vs player?
Technically the people involved shouldn't matter.  However the rules never apply to admins or their friends/clanmates the way they apply to everyone else.

I'm sure there are more, but I'm still half asleep.  =p
