500 kills comes quick. If i run out of ammo i reach for my pistol. If i see someone with their back turned, out comes my pistol. That stratedgy seemed to work and i now got my expert, and im only a First Sergeant.

BTW right clicking and using the sights makes it surprisingly better and easier to use.

That number is based on the amount of time u have used the pistol in your BF2 career, it says that I'll will get my remaining 20 hours, to get 100 hours for my Expert Assault Badge in 96 days, whilst in fact in one day of full playing I can have that 20 hours.
Just start playing more and more with the pistol, be sniper, shoot people with the sniper rifle and finish it of with the pistol

The pistol really is a surprisingly good weapon.  Not saying it can REPLACE an actual rifle, but you will get up in kills with it through regular usage.  While it doesn't have much power, it does have the advantage of having almost no recoil, which is why it's so obscenely accurate.  Like most people have said, use it to pick off damaged enemies.  And use the fact that it has less recoil than other guns to your advantage;  other guns work better when the enemy is crouched or prone.  With the pistol, the accuracy difference is negligible, so stay on the move when using it on combat...the enemy's accuracy will suffer a lot more than yours...assuming you can shoot straight, of course.

and, maybe u are not aware of this, u can use your pistol to snipe.  its bizarrely one of the most accurate weapons in the game, which is both funny and bullshit.  accuracy is a factor of barrel length, amongst other things, so pistols should be weak at range, but ingame this isnt the case. 

make a mental note to start whipping pistol out, esp when u empty, or when u see enemy at range.
Defintily agree with Uber on this one, making the pistol a hot key (middle mouse button) is the key to getting those pistol kills. Teaming up also helps, especially in close combat as you can pick off injured enemies.

The time left to acheive your kills is based on your history, so therefore by gearing up and using the pistol a bit more you will see this come down a bit, but to acheive your remainding 75 this will fly by.

As above no need to stat pad at all
