I worked at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas, and served a ton of celebs.  A few would remember me when they came back.

I met Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton(hosts of several computer help/misc. shows).

I also know the guy that sold a car to Bam Margera. (if you want to consider a car salesman famous)

That's it I think.

I know Sean Connery... not really.

I dont know any famous people... never "met" a famous person, and I dont really care... famous people are over rated. They want to be famous, but complain about poparazzi (SP?).

Howabout this for 'knowing someone'?

I play BF2 with Danai Smuthkochorn, a famous Thai Actor. Beat that.
Enough people know him that at least 2 people an hour ask him for an autograph when we're out.

Hell, he bought BF2 for me because I didnt have my wallet with me. Still haven't paid him back.

Don't think I will. So instead he bought EF for himself and his brother (my friend) and didn't get one for me.

Then I know Trisdee na Patalung, alledgedly the 'best pianist in Thailand'. He's been front page newspaper several times, and has always said how unsocial his life is. Those who do know him know that he holds the wickedest parties evar. And in the coolest place; the Bangkok Opera Office house.

People in Holland might know him, the Bangkok Opera thing goes back and forth between Amsterdam and Thailand.
Thanks to him I am the proud owner of a bottle of absinthe. It used to be full.

Then I know Eilidh Macqueen, a model/actress who worked with Steven Seagal. Yes, I know, Steven Seagal can't act but he has a name for himself.

I know Dear Visutthithada, aka Lydia a pretty famous Thai singer. Also the sister of my friend. Got herself nominated for 'Best Singer/Band' for the MTV Asia Awards. She lost to Tata Young. Figures. Fuckin' Tata Young.

Yeah that's it. All relatively-famous, Thailand-wise at least. That's what you get when you go to an expatriate school.

Met plenty, but dont actually 'know' them.  Its doubtful they would remember me if we were to meet again.

A. Jay Popoff - Lead singer of the rock band Lit (met the whole band but actually talked with him)
Vern Troyer - Yes....I met Mini-Me from Austin Powers
Something Corporate - Met this band before they were famous
Ryan Dunn - From MTV's Jackass and Viva La Bam.  He had internet trouble, and I worked for his ISP.
Sugar Ray - The rock band, they are some pretty kick ass guys to hang out with.

Thats all of I can think of....my aunt went to school with Larry Bird at Indiana State, so she knows him.

I know Gaz Coombes (lead singer of Supergrass).

He is the boyfriend and father to the child of a good friend of the family.  Last time I saw him we went bowling and our game kept being interupted by people wanting pictures with him.  I did beat him though so it wasn't all bad, lol

That would be kind of cool actually.

Both of my grandfathers are some what obscurely famous.  They are both mentioned in books for deeds done during WW2 and soon there after.  One grandfather was one of the few non-com pilots of B-17's during WW2 and was highly decorated on several occasions.

I have hung out a couple of times with SlipKnot or how ever the hell they spell their name.  They are ok guys for the most part.

I'm related to Alan Bean the astronaut.  He was on Apolo 12 and something like the 4th guy on the moon.
My dad has a piece of silver that was on the moon.

My grandma used to live next to Billy Sims when he was a running back for the Detroit Lions.  Met him several times.

omfg that's ironic.

Half an hour after I make that post, Dan calls me and asks if i want him to buy AF for me.

I say "Sure man thanks, i'll pay you back for it"

Then silence, and then he answers "Haha, well pay me back for BF2 first fucker" and then he hangs up.

I think he read this.

Wow, that is cool that you are related to such a historical figure as Chuck Yeager.  I used to go to the Edwards AFB show every year with my dad when I was a little kid and watch Ckuck fly.

One of my friends also has relations through his family with a lot of famous people (especially hockey players) suck as Keith Tkachuk, Bobby Orr, and Jim Fahey. He also has relations to the author of the book Mystic River.

And there's also a guy at my work who knows just about all of the Boston Bruins legends, especially Ken Hodge. He knows Ken Hodge so much he doesn't even consider him a celebrity anymore, he is also really good friends with the Hanson Brothers.
I really LOVE Dropkick Murphys!
