Changing game language.

I installed bf2 in dutch... yeah dutch.
I want to change the game language to english now, how do i do it without having to install the whole game again?

hmm....I'm not sure you can change without completly reinstalling. If I'm and idiot, and I'm wrong, then sorry. But last time I checked, you had to isntall your root language at the beginning of installation, and you couldn't change it after that.

Well, i can talk dutch, yes i'm from the netherlands.
But i just prefer english, guess it'll be reinstalling time for me.

1) Click: 'Start' ---> 'Run' -- type: "regedit"
2) Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Artsa\EA Games\Battlfield 2
3) Open 'Language'
3) Replace 'Value Data' with "English"

O well, it was wortth a try. ROFL thats a funny screen shot

EDIT: And on the plus side... it is in english... sorta

EDIT 2: you could try swapping the Dutch localization files with the engilsh ones

Try and drag, all the files in the English folder, to the dutch folder and rename them, to the original dutch names, make a backup of the dutch ones, try it then, oh and btw:

Trying now.

Don't think this'll work though.

The dutch folder has the following files.
- dutch.utxt
- dutch_autorun.utxt
- Dutch_Mappacks.utxt
- Dutch_Patch.utxt
- XPDutch.utxt

While the english folder only has...
- english_mappacks.utxt
- English_Patch.utxt
- XPEnglish.utxt

Nope... didn't work, it was still dutch

I have a language pack somewhere or use search in google and it will be in English thats what happened to me bough the game in god knows what language and download it multi-language pack now its in English.

I first had it in dutch too, didn't really sucked, only when the commander shouted: "they are capping suburb" and you have no clue where that would be
I did it with the re-install, should have searched first hehe
