Please answer me this- a yes/no question- Is it possible to install BF2 on another machine with a missing CD-1? (I know, bad me... I have to play bf2 with my SF disc).

I perhaps (Falsely) recall downloading the game first, and then using a key to make it playable. It may be a different game... but is it possible to install bf2 on another machine LEGALLY with a missing CD-1?

I'm sure if you know how to get hacked software you could download it but I'm not saying you should.
There are ways around those kind of problems. The only thing is... it's illegal.
I wonder if one could contact EA and ask for help. The fact that you have to have the cd to play is kinda bad because some people do lose the disk or they get destroyed on accident.
Not sure but if you have a legit copy maybe you could give EA proof and they can do something for you.

The price of bf2 is going down though. You could save the hassle and just buy another copy. That way both computers will be legit and you could have a buddy come over and play or something.
good luck.

Thanks... Yes I have my code on my BF2 manual and my CD-2 and CD-3, And Both of my SF CD's.... I was just wondering if the code would be the seller and not the cd's.

I do intend to stay legal and purchasing another copy is too much hassle. I'll try and look for it, but its nowhere to be found.
