Besides dropping vodniks at karkand at the hotel NOW they are dropping them on the USMC artillery....a direct hit on them will blow em up.At least they arent glitching.......just goes to show you the lengths some cyberpunks will go to ...to get an edge.I never liked the idea of this drop vehicle crap in the first place.Makes the game cheaper.

Tuning: We have made some modifications to the vehicle drop feature introduced in 1.3. These changes should reduce the overall impact of "cartillery" on game play.
One of the things they plan to do with the next patch.

I believe they are adding the random drift like the supply crates have.
"Cartillery" when I read it was regarding crushing people with falling cars, but hopefully it solves the issue of destroying arty with it as well. To be honest I didn't know about that until just now, interesting stuff.
And yeah, all I can really think of as far as a fix is to add drift.

Its not random drift, they always go north, about 10 feet.
Makes getting repair points a bit easier.

Seriously... who doesn't love dropping trucks on snipers?
Way old,I used this the moment the patch came out.kessel! wrote:

On Wake I could keep the US artillery destroyed almost the whole round.Dropping stuff on tanks is a wasted bonus, when you place the drop correctly the arty blows up instantly.
And I consider this a fair tactic,it's commander against commander.
Before they introduced vehicle drops one of my strategies was hunting down the enemy commander with artillery(when he's dead there are at least 15 seconds without supplies,UAV or arty).
You can really mess up the enemy commander's gameplay with this,he mostly can't really concentrate on commanding.
Now with vehicle drops there's a new strategy which even the manual mentioned: "Try to blow up the enemy commander's artillery."
I don't really like humvees on my head when I'm sniping, but as long as both commander fight each other with it it's alright.
OMFG!!! WHATS THAT ABOVE US!!! Why...? It's the search button!!! OMG!!!
Yep; reported within the first week I think.kessel! wrote:

If so then many a skilled commander will be able to use it just as well as they do now as cartillery. After all there are people out there who can regularly take out lone snipers with a supply crate as it is.LividCow wrote:

LOL, yeah, but it sucks when you're the one who suddenly dies for no apparent reason.SniperF0x wrote:
