How I found this out is perhaps irrelevant (although being sniped by a plane whore repeatedly does mean you do silly things) but on Kubra Dam I was pushed to the edge of the hanger when I tried to stand in front of a plane on take off. Does this mean the problem is fixed or was this just a server side script rather than anything official from EA?

did anyone actually read his whole post, he said he stood infront of the guy who had repeatedly shot him, I don't know if this means they have fixed the issue, but it would be a start, altho I can never be bothered to use planes

I'm always in the hanger twice. No matter what, I will ALWAYS die once when flying a jet. In the most rediculous ways (2 stray missles from the other side of the map that missed other vehicles, lag when bombing, car drops appearing in front of me in mid-air) It's like some kind of curseRev0 wrote:

Well if they "pushed" you off the runway because you were "waiting" for aircrap because you were "shot out" many times..something is fishy. You were "pushed" off the runway because FF was OFF. We are doing that with our Wake and getting great results with less Tk's; but idiots still find a way. Myadvice to you is stop being runway jerk and quit waiting for planes, I hope more flyboy maps take our lead and put FF OFF.

I was on wake island and didn't get the jet blah blah blah started walking off when I heard a jet starting up. I look behind myself and our jets taking off. Couldn't get out of the road. and then I just magically appear in the air to the side of the runway. as I was reaching for my page up button (thats right. not a typo. I forgive) and I realise I'm still alive. Yea I could have made my story shorter but I had to explain that I wasn't runway blocking as such. and if he did get a TK I would have forgiven.

I still don't quite get it. I know there are planes in this game for a reason, if you get one, *GREAT!!!!*. If not and it's still all you want, why not just go play in a flight simulator or some shit???

If I"m reading this right, this happens to me all the time on the carrier waiting for the havok/ah-1Z/whatever. The plane spawns and you're kind of out to the side and it squishes you out and overboard or onto the deck or whatever. I dont' know if it has something to do with friendly fire being on/off or not, but I figured FF had to be on for ranked servers and I always play on ranked so yeah...
If you want another example of something similar, more than I think shoudl have happened, I've had vodniks spawn while I'm driving over their spawn point with another vehicle. THis causes some major lag, but no damage surprisingly. It's quite a site. Hope this helps a little.

I do that if the person does something retarded. For example:
Me and TMo were on wake pwning in the Z-10 when some retard in the J-10 slams into us. Somehow TMo gets a TK on that guy and the guy punishes when we had no idea there was a plane barrelling at us (that was the only way we died in all our rounds, people ramming us because they sucked too much to kill us). So TMo jumped infront of the guy's plane when it all respawned. Then some fucking Corporal TKed TMo for the pilots seat and drove me into the ground. Then TMo drove a FAV right into the dumbass and bailed before it hit so it counted as a suicide. Then I think Dareja slammed the skycow into the guy's FAV and it caused the guy 3 TK's, BANNED.
Hell, me and TMo even TKed for the chopper once or twice, but only because when we asked the smurf "hey me and TMo are doing well in the chopper so can we use it?" the person didn't even respond, they just stood tehre.

I hardly ever fly planes. But when you're on a map and keep getting bombed to fuck all the time you wanna get in a plane and do a bit of good old air to air combat to keep the skies clear of bomb whores. Admittedly I'm no Iceman but whether you are shooting them down or being chased by them they aren't bombing the living shit outta your team.usmarine2005 wrote:

If anything, I'm trying to work out why you're so eager for me not to fly. Did you get smacked around by a pilot when you were young and are harboring a grudge ever since? The fact that your nickname is Usmarine could mean you're one of those hangers on - too fat and pudgy to join the marines, but still messed up enough to subscribe to soldier of fortune magazine.

I'm a good pilot, and I would damn well expect that if I'm playing a team game I should play to my stengths. I've been away from BF2 for nigh on two weeks, and my ground game has suffered as a result. So I'm easing myself in slowly.
