Okay, I have to reinstall the currnt patch... But it says it will take me 60+ hours to do so from EAs site. WTF!!!!! I did however see a link around here that had a link to older patchs. And is there a way to dl faster on 56k. Please help.....

put it on a cd and no more 60+ hours
even on bf2s mirror? jeez.....did you already have 1.3....why dont you just re-install? watever you do you will have to download a full version which will probably take alot of time....use EAD does that not have older patches?
Sorry man but a 380Mb patch is going to take a huge amount of time on a 56K modem.
The quickest time possible would be around 55 hours.
If you can, get a friend to download it for you, and transfer it on a CD or USB stick.
If you have a USB stick, you could ask an internet cafe if they will let you use their connection? Or a local library? Or a PC at school \ collage?

How can you play BF2 on a 56k modem? I had a dail-up connection for a few days after I got BF2, When you drive a vehicle, it says "There is a problem with your connection" and the average ping is around 800.
