Today i was playing on wake as commander on the Chinese PLA and i used a alltillery strike to defend one of our flags, and it hit a team mate and then i saw i was punished for a tk, Then after that it happened again and then i was banned, Is this a new commander glitch or something, because ive only given car damage before, not tks where i get banned from alltillery strikes

Really confused about what happened in there

I have never heard of the ability to punish for a commander arty TK. Hmm, I'll have to search for threads like this.

It's possible if you were on the AA or LMG at a base. Arty kills count as vehicle kills while your on those weapons.

same thing happened to me, except all I did was do team vehicle damage with the arty strike, not kill anyone, but I got kicked for "excessive team damage"

Same thing has happened to me a couple of times as well. Never a TK but the occasional team damage message. So I can relate.

so you weren't on the AA or LMG? if so that is very weird. I've gotten team vehicle damage and tk's from arty but never punished even when I am on one of those things.

I've seen a glitch where arty destroys itself, out of the three in the battary the middle gun on the USMC island on wake kept firing and sending up water as if the shells where hitting the sea. It destroyed itself after a while, but it took me and a few others with it. Can't remember if it asked me if I wanted to punish or not though.

on this one server, people were complaining about the commander going into battle, and when I became commander, I was in the corner doing my commanding, when an enemy dude ran up at me and tried to knife me, figuring I was on the command page, but I wasn't and I shot him and killed him, and then I was kicked for it.

that's totally strange. that shouldn't happen unless you got hit with a red/blue tag bug as well.

im not sure but maybe if your arty made a vehicle go on fire and then explode.
that might cause you to get a tk and it is not considered arty so you dont get your "immunity"
i hope that solves your problem
