Well recently i just got the M95 to see how well i can perform as a sniper. Though i need a lot of help. Everytime some guys on a higher area than me i aim my cross hairs 1 pixel higher over his head and i shoot but miss nearly all the time. i also have very low sensitivity on so i dont have any problems with my mouse moving when i shoot. I miss a lot but some times i get a few kills. Any suggestions?

Aim 1 pixel lower? You don't have to worry much about bullet drop, especially uphill and where you can see him enough to measure 1 pixel above his head. For now, forget everything you have read/heard about bullet drop. There is nothing avaliable that can calculate it. I personally don't worry about it and I do rather well when I snipe.

Turn the sensitivity up a bit, and just practice. It'll do worlds of good for your shooting ability.

Don't aim above, aim AT

yea a bunch of people have problems with it and most jus tlike give and say this is gay it cant hit anyhitng, congrats on no whining!!! wooop

Aight the only time you rly need to aim above ones head is if he is about the size of a dime well at least about that tall but yea you rly dont need to aim above the head.  If your target is runing horizontal you probly wont hit him it is just the hit box like if your knifing and people get up right as ur knifing em it ill se a puff of smoke but you wont kill him its cuz of the hitbox lagg so if you hit a person running horizontal well take a pop shot you never know but yea i find shots running toward and standing still the easits ones but yea just aim at ther eyeball it works for me!!! i hope it made sense cuz it didnt to me!

All the advice given is relevant, but if you want a true sniper rifle, use the M24 or L96A1. They're much more accurate and do the same damage for headshots. The only redeeming quality of the M95 is the fact it can penetrate vehicle glass, but since that doesn't seem like what you're doing, go back to the M24.

As far as I know, there's less bullet drop to worry about, more deviation. Getting as close as possible will always help. But yeah, just aim at them, not around or whatever, unless they're moving, then you might make up for lag.

If you're sniping, accuracy should be your paramount reason for chosing a weapon -- so my advice is to go with the 24 until you can unlock the 96. Either is more accurate than the 95, and is easier to use as well, given their scopes. And as the others said, unless range is extreme, dont worry about bullet drop too much.

JMHO -- good luck, regardless.

I've been told to aim to hit, and then finish the guy with the pistol, and that seems to work well with me.  That will also carry over to other kits--you'll find yourself getting better at whipping out and using the pistol effectively when in a pinch.

I'll be posting elsewhere about this elsewhere but this may not be anything you're doing wrong, it may simply be the inherent accuracy (lack of) of the rifle.

Any particular situations you're shooting (i.e. Construction Site to TV Station on Sharqi)? At moderate ranges (less than 100m) my advice would be to aim for body shots and try to finish off with the pistol or a second shot, and often you'll get lucky if the guy runs off, and get a kill damage assist. Incidentally, if you didn't know, if you take someone down to two bars of health and they then jump and hurt themselves in a fall you can (not always I think) get credit for their death, Enemy [Killed] Kissmybumper.

You have to aim higher when you shoot upwards.

I'd agree.
