So i was playing strike at karkand and somehow i get weird looking graphichs anyway i will post a picture

What video card do you have? I've seen this before and i have a 6800 gt. Want to know what i did, kinda weird. I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del, checked my aim, brought the game back up, and it was gone.
I have had this happen to me in CS:S too. Some sort of texture anomlie. I get it randomly, but it doesn't annoy really because of the easy fix. If it keeps happening, make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com. If you need to know what type of card you have then in windows:
-Click START, then click RUN. In the box type in dxdiag. A window should come up with different tabbs at the top to choose. Open the display tab and that will give you all the info about you card and some directx tests to see if the problem is a hardware malfunction.
You may need to call tech support for your card if the drivers don't fix it.

last time it happened to me was a while ago and many GFX cards ago on another game. it's your GFX card processor over heating.
it would happen to me after a few hours of game play during the summer with no AC. nearly melted my GFX card. got too hot to touch.
not this hot but felt like it.

I have the same problem now and then
got a 6800 and the cooling on it is not good anuf so after 6 hours of play it will start going mad
unless you pull the side panel off and put a big blowfan next to it:D

maybe you need sum advice of using ducts to your graphix card for more air

buy some more cooling for it
I have 2 * 512 MB 6800 Ultra's and when I turn the anti aliasing up it does something simular to what your getting. Try turning the AA down / off and see what happens.
You can check to see if your cards overheating in the advanced display properties. My primary card runs at 62.c and the secondary runs at 58.c.
