I have my Basic engineer badge and am aiming for my silver next, I have killed 20 people IAR but it has not been ticked off as completed.

Do I have to put the 15 hours in first and then get 20 kills or has it accepted them but just not ticked it off?

Yes you do .....once you have all the requirements ...then you can get the IAR requirment then you will get the award

You have to have 15 hours first then u need to get 20kills sometimes 21 for it register i had to get 42 when i went for my expert spec ops.

You may also have to wait for the stats to up date in leader board, l know this happens sometimes to me with a few badges.

Thanks for the clarification, so I went on a killing spree for nothing (except points and fun!).

It gets worse. What happened to me this morning? I ticked over 100 hours as anti tank and got 43 kills in the same round. The hours have been put through, but not the kills. Therefore I have to do it again, darn it.

Again, you must get the time requirements before you can meet the IAR requirements, and cannot achieve both in the same round.

oh man i wish i read this before... just got 80+ kills as an engineer on a near empty iron gator, and i'm short on the time requirement by an hour.
