The Problem
All of sudden Battlefield 2's VOIP isn't working for me. I am not sure it is because of the patch or not, all I know is it just stopped working. The icon shows up, but I cannot hear or see that anyone else is talking. Nor can anyone hear me. I can still talk on CS:S, Vent, and TS so I know my headset isn't the problem. I haven't changed anything about my system recently, except upgrade video drivers. And I don't remember when it stopped working because I just thought no one was talking. The same problem is present on my brother's computer.

My PC Specs
Windows XP Professional SP2
Intel Pentium D 920 @ 2.8Ghz
ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe Motherboard
2 gigs of DDR2 667 DIMM SDRAM
eVGA GeForce 7800GT (PCIE x16)
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Value
Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound Sytem
Logitech MX310 Mouse
Logtitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick
Altec Lansing AHS-202 Headset

Audio Settings

Code:

AudioSettings.setVoipEnabled 1
AudioSettings.setVoipPlaybackVolume 1
AudioSettings.setVoipCaptureVolume 1
AudioSettings.setVoipCaptureThreshold 0.0572707
AudioSettings.setVoipBoostEnabled 1
AudioSettings.setVoipUsePushToTalk 1
AudioSettings.setProvider "hardware"
AudioSettings.setSoundQuality "High"
AudioSettings.setEffectsVolume 1
AudioSettings.setMusicVolume 1.69346e-010
AudioSettings.setHelpVoiceVolume 1
AudioSettings.setEnglishOnlyVoices 0
AudioSettings.setEnableEAX 1
What I Have Tried
This what I have tried to fix this problem. I didn't bother upgrading audio drivers because they were updated a while ago when VOIP was working.
A) Setting acceleration to basic. Even if it had worked, I would have reverted back because without full acceleration BF2 runs slower/audio quality decreased.
B) Re-Installing Battlefield 2 and full 1.3 patch.
C) Upgrading PunkBuster.
D) Shutting down Outpost Firewall while playing.
E) Running nothing but Battlefield 2.
F) Editing the BattleCommoDefaultUserSettings.con to

Code:

1
1
0.1
0
Please help! If a solution presents itself I will be sure to put it here/my website/another post. +Karma for anyone who thinks of something to try (within reason).

PS. Can someone remove the "q" in the topic title? I am not sure why or how it got there.

does it work in the battle cammo setup?
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2VoiceSetup.exe

the fact that it doesnt work on either computer sounds like a firewall problem with in the router.

Mine never worked in the Battle cammo setup.  I noticed that it is very touchy with TS and when you plug in your mic (mine is usb)

I always shut down the router at the end of the day. I'll try opening the ports...it should work without doing that though...it was has before.
