Yes , it is unbalanced .Or you don't agree that G36E needs much less skill to do effectively with it ? I just don't like similar kills .I don't use armor on city maps , I don't use overpowered guns , etc . It's my gamestyle .

I'm a spec ops i use the g36c, when im assault i use the g3, medic i use them all, all 3 unlocks and the standerd. depending on the situation, what flags im going for.ect..

what takes more skill to use? that depends on the player and there tactics. for instance if your using a carbine you dont want to get to close because it does less damage.. if your using an assault your at medium to close range. It might seem like the g36e is the easier of the 2 to use but in close quarters combat the 101 smokes the carbine. So this gives a major advantage to head shots and killing in 3 shots. where the carbine takes 4 or 5. the 3 round burst is also a medium range advantage, close range you want fully auto and long range you single fire.. giving an advantage to the 101 again.. you dont need to switch from 1 to auto shot with the 101 but with the g36e you need to switch from single to burst fire to be effective.

there is no gun that will win the battle for you, you have to use each gun a bit differently depending on the situation. this is why i believe there is no "perfect" or unblanced gun..

And yeh , I shall give you +1 , as you are the first person who didn't just give me -1 for my opinion on G36E .

I lean twards the G3 because of the fully auto mode when im U.S.. dont like burst fire.. And i like standerd gernades over the GL. I just feel i get more accuracy when wanting to say throw them on roofs or over walls things of that nature. accuracy of the G3 is awesome in fully auto mode when needed. single shot all 3 are about the same. yea and i have to admit the sound of the gun rocks. lol

The G36E is much easier to use than the AK-101, that's certainly true. Three round burst allows you to fire quickly and accurately. But if you get familiar with the AK-101 and sleep with it and buy it flowers, it's insanely good. Let me quote from the Laws Of BF2 thread -

"13. If someone with an ak-101 happens to glance at you, you will instantly die of fear."

In practice I normally use the G36E when I play medic because it's the easiest, but if I am having a frustrating round, I change to the AK-101 and go on rage sprees.



I prefer the G3 to either of them because it, while a temperamental girl, can deliver when you need it. The number of times I've had a near empty clip that I forgot to reload and emptied it on reflex into someone's face and kill them, the number of times I've headshotted Humvee gunners while I was in the open and being fired at ... I can't go back, baby. I never noob tubed even before it was nerfed because I got better results with the G3. Battle Rifle FTW.

G36E is for lamers who cant shoot and just rape a burst gun.

Whole reason it was invented so noob recruits dont empty the whole mag on accident. Shouldnt even be 900 RPM. It has gotten worse than the PKM now, but I am always fine with it because people using it usually suck with all the other guns thus using that.

The AK-101 not only looks way better, but is way better, 37 damage is handy, its just alittle harder to take long range shots with.

And I totally agree, I hate almost all the unlocks now, whats the point when everyone has them anyway, was much better in the old days when if you saw a jackhammer or PKM you were actually shocked and amazed.

Defaults own all.

If the Ak 101 is the better gun then how is the g36e for "noob recruits"? Do you really think burst fire gives a major advantage? generalizing a player by which gun he uses is what i would consider to be pretty "noobish".
Since when is it looked down apon to use unlocks? from the looks of it you pretty much suck with every gun so who are you to judge what skill or lack there of is?  If you cant switch kits and guns in those kits to best suit the situation is that not "noobish"? Because every gun and kit has its advantages and disadvantages no?

I use it all the time and don't find it as bad as people make it out to be, you just gotta aim at the head.

G36E for me

I generally use the G36e over the other medic guns, mostly because burst fire makes makes it more useful in more situations. I also like the L8, it has insane zoom and headshot capabilities. I'll try the AK a bit tonight and see how i get on.

All these people saying the ak-101 takes more skill and is therefore the better gun - W.T.F?? Surely that makes it WORSE!! "Aw, this chocolate coffee mug takes MUCH more skill, it must be brilliant!!!"
