Someone got killed with a KORD

The subject says it all.

It said 1 [KORD] 2
1 claimed to have shot 2 with a rocket launcher so not sure how this one came up.

It was on Gulf, i've also seen other weird ones before such as something along the lines of 28mm Guns but this i havent read or seen anything about it.

It's a first for me!

I did a search and i read about it being similar to the PKM mounted ontop of jeeps/T-90 etc. But nothing about someone killing someone else with it (and having it acctually state you killed someone with a KORD).

Any opinions?

yea i googled them guns some came up with just the normal stationairy guns on tanks and stuff like that

kinda like the 'laser painter' in the localisation files? in there but dosent exist in-game? probably just deleted in the beta testing or some crap and it occasionally glitches.

then it'll liek mark it on th HUD (prolly) and your bombs become sexually attracted to it...

A laser painter would be something that shoots a laser light to mark something as a target for missles I think,

A Kord is the 12.7mm MG mounted on the top of FAVs, Vodniks, T90s etc - the equivalent of the Browning M2 HB which is found on the DPV, HMMWV and M1A2 Abrams.

HYDRA is 70mm WAFAR (Wrap-Around Fin Aerial Rocket) used by the AH-1Z as well as Apaches and Eurocopters.

Normally, yes. My theory is that if you shoot something at someone, then get out of the vehicle before it hits them and kills them, it will show the actual name of the weapon that killed them. I've done this a few times with bombs (it shows GAU-12 or something) and with the guns on jets.

I think it works the same basic way that mines work when you get into a vehicle. Any kill you get while in a vehicle is automatically attributed to said vehicle. I.E. if you kill someone with a claymore while in a vodnik, it will show "ThomasMorgan [Vodnik] tF-Hitman". The vehicle names override weapon names. However, if you use that vehicles weapons to kill someone and then bail out...well, you get where I'm going with this...

Teh glitch. A Kord is a Russian 12.7mm heavy machine gun - probably would have been given to the MEC, seeing as it's already on their vehicles. It's listed in the localization files, along with a whole shitload of stuff that's not in the game. Dunno how he got killed with one, probably a glitch.
