Snipers VS Support.

In this case it would have to be snipers that agree not to use claymores vs assault class...that would serve the same purpose as claymores vs medics.dontfeedthenerd wrote:
If you want to really make this "fair" if there is such a thing: Snipers vs. Medics except someone mod it out so that Snipers don't get Clays and Medics can't revive or toss health packs.
It'd just be rifles, pistols, and nades, no Karkand with a bajillion claymores around each flag, no cluster-fuck of medics screaming CLEAR!

You are the one that brought stats in to it. No one here is saying that the medics are not positive towards the team but just like there are noob snipers there are noob medics who revive with out caution just for Pt's getting them selves killed every time. They make for great knife kills too. The medic is a good kit but it does not always contribute more.Kmarion wrote:
You guys are just flat out funny. You don't understand with the med kit you can do more. Is it really that hard to get? OK some my K/D is comparable to most snipers.. but I do more than lay on my belly sucking dirt.

I think that on karkand the medics would win but larger maps with out fog your going to find it a lot harder to kill the snippers. Good snipers will not crowd together on one hill, you might see one but you wont know there is one behind you until you get shot in the head while taking cover. Half of this game is killing the other team, the other half is staying alive while you do it.
Good snipers help there squad as well, while most player don't use team work. Sniper in a squad can protect the squad from attacks from behind as a look out and take out stubborn AT or Special ops that are gunning for a tank kill along with flag defends. A sniper can cover multiple flags from good vantage point. Medics are the only way to get past clays in one of the TV towers though. Clay kill, throw a grenade at the body while the medic tries to revive him or jump in and get the knife kill.
Drykill is working on it...keep an eye on this thread. Hopefully we can get a bunch of people.Chillin&killin wrote:

aggreed, in reality it comes down to who knows the map better whitch team works better together, who has more skill, because a great player can use any kit and still dominate. There are very few who have positive ratios in all of the small arms.Kmarion wrote:
I good K/D ratio goes beyond "stats" with match play. When your whole team relies on keeping it's tickets and taking the other teams tickets it is your single purpose in the game. To take more tickets than lose tickets you need to have a far superior ratio than the person who can help move the whole progression of the squad. Yes I brought up K/D ratio for this reason. I really am running out of different ways of trying to tell you this. Simply put, if I can take the same or slightly more tickets from the enemy while also helping my team take flags and reviving them while doing this, how am I not doing more for my team than someone laying somewhere off in the distance? I am not saying there is no place for snipers in the game. But please reffer to the topic. This proposal was one kit verse the other.
Of course how much a person contributes varies on a persons knowledge and skill level. That's a given.
that just sickens me..Amish_electrition22 wrote:

you've seen my sniping entertainer.. i'm up there in the front lines capping flags.. then i fuck off back to as far away as possible and shoot the people trying to recap it then "Requesting vehicle drop, over!" zoom.. i'm off to the next flag.. and get in a few headshots on the way.. thats only as PLA with the sexy Type88..EntertaineR_06 wrote:
WTF, why does everyone has this fucking idea that all snipers are are twats sitting on a hill?! Most of us are nothing but that and are up in the action with the rest of you, shake your idaes of a sniper...

i can..SargeV1.4 wrote:
It all depends on the map.
If we're playing Dragon Valley, us medics are f*cked.
On the other hand, Karkand, pretty much the other extreme, will be easy as pie for medics (assuming we won't have claymores EVERYWHERE)
Just remember that I've got several trickses up my sleeve that you guys won't like very much.. and no, they're not (just) dolphin diving
I wonder, out of the many snipers here who claim to be so good, how many of you could actually shoot a running/jumping medic in the head?
