I dunno what's been going on but I recently got my 100+ hours for AntiTank and I went in to try and get the 44+ kills to get the expert AT badge in SF so I could knock off SF and regular BF2's expert AT badge at once without having to do twice the effort... well I've been working three times as hard and I still haven't gotten it.

The dilemna:

The first time around, I only got up to 43 kills, 1 kill less from 44 so I was kind of upset there... but happy I still got 1st place regardless.

Second time around, I got up to 46 kills... but nothing showed up, no badge, no drums, nothing, so I kept running around till I got up to 48 kills, still nothing.

Third time around, I acquired 46 kills AGAIN, STILL nothing! By now I have over 101 hours as AT and I still haven't gotten my expert AntiTank badge.

So what gives?

I wasn't in a tank, chopper or any kind of vehicle at the time I got all these kills, unless running around in the USS Essex's quarters count because these were all done playing in the map 'The Iron Gator'.

I can easily make over 40/44+ kills in that map if I really try at it, love it to death... but of all the times I've tried to get my expert AntiTank badge, KNOWING I've killed over 44, or AT LEAST up to 44 kills, the gold badge has yet to show up

Am I missing out on something? If anyone's checked my stats I've made up for everything else to meet up to the requirements for it so I dunno what's going on.

I believe, although not 100% sure, but if you have say 99hours as AT, you play a few rounds then get the 100 hours, you then have to log out and log back into the account server so that it recognises you have 100 hours (or something). Then, go ahead and get the 44 kills IAR.

Not absolutly sure, but im sure Ive read that somewhere.

I'll have to try that out I Guess... maybe log in again now since it's been a while since I tried again, give or take a few hours... sure! I'll try it out now then, if I don't get it now... well heck, I dunno what I'll do... perhaps get regular BF2 expert AT then hop onto SF God that'd be alot of work if I have to do it that way.

I thought you were gonna bitch about how you often see loads of AT guys on a team, but there is NO co-ordination when tank-busting.  Me and my buddies always roll with two AT guys in the squad, and through use of VOIP, we cordinate when to fire on an armour unit.  Lo and behold, said tankdoesn't get a chance to follow the smoke trails as he's usually scrambling to get out of the tank before it blows.

Ah, teamwork, is there anything you can't do?

Snake is correct, you need to have the 100 hours before you join the server.
I believe it because when the server loads your data it checks to see what global requirements you have to gain which awards.
If you don't have the requirements at load then no IAR scores are going to help.
Note, that just leaving an joining a server once you have the global reqs may not be enough. You may need to wait for a few mins, or an hour for your account info to be up to date.

Hope this info help man.

Alright that's shit, I got Anti Tank Expert in SF but according to BFHQ and BF2S, I only got the BF2 regular AT Expert badge... now I'm REALLY confused why that happened because acquiring the SF expert badge supposed to also knock off the normal BF2's badge as well?

Now I gotta work TWICE as hard, AGAIN, to get the badge that SUCKS

Ah yes teamwork...

My college roomamte is a certified AT kit whore (lol) and I usually play medic (with a 3rd guy playing support).  Well I've been know for running and jumping in front of APCs and tanks while holding my medic bag while my buddy pounds them with SRAWs, funny thing is they want to kill me so much they don't care that an AT guy his killing them, lol.
