OK I go to select spawn and weapons for the first time when the map finally loads,  The mouse freezes in the same spot on the map every single time. I then tried several times to try different maps and sf maps, it still froze     
in the same spot every tim. So i created a new account and it wors fine. Though I lost my rank medals unlocks and so on. Does anyone know how to fix my problem or how i can contact ea to transfer my stats.

You don't have to create a new account. Just delete the bf2 folder where your config is saved (normally c:\Documents and files\bf2 or something). Then retrieve your account again (Find account). That will help you get rid of the mouse problem (and various others related to the patch). EA won't transfer your stats.

mydocuments>battlefield2>profiles
delete the folders contents and retrive the account via the account retrival on the login(under manage accounts).
or better yet just move the folders contents to another place so u have a back up if u need it.
