Logitech 3D Extreme Pro. It's like $40 US and I think it's awesome. I have one too and my flying skills got much better...ah...who am I kidding.. I didn't have any flying skills and now I do.
Have a look at the Saitek website. Can't really go wrong there.
They work...The one you got probly didn't work...anyway...Just tell me what are some good brands, and If I need a joystick with 348234715 different buttons and switches on it
BTW: I don't have too much money to spare on me...So I don't want a 50$ joystick :S

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, very nice and not too expensive.

I just bought the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro at Target ($29.64) and gave it a go yesterday. After a few tweaks to the in-game settings, I still have trouble with the controls. I've set the sensitivity down to .10 (lowest setting) and left the others unchanged. Is there an ideal configuration that you would suggest?
Either logiteck 3d extreme or saitek x52
I have the sensitivity at at 50%, the dead zone at 10% and range to 100% on all axis. I also have the centre spring strength set to 100%.jclutch21 wrote:

I have a Logitech Attack 3. Honestly, if you're just going to play BF2 wih it, don't waste your money on a fancy joystick. Any cheap joystick that isn't going to fall apart will work just fine.
I find it much easier to fly with a joystick than trying to use the keyboard and mouse. It's much more intuitive if you've ever used a flight sim before.

Thanks, Cold Fussion. I understand the sensitivity part but where do I set the dead zone, range and center spring strength?Cold Fussion wrote:

A lot of the kids that play BF2 can get pretty angry. I don't think that thing would withstand much.
Yeah I'm wandering that too, why do you keep copying badhq?pedigreeuk wrote:

best stick,i'd recommend saitek x52.big,solid,shitloads of button/dpads & lights up nicely, also controls pretty sweet lol.
not got one myself,i preffer to use my thrustmaster joypad for jets, but my mates got the x52 & if my jpad breaks, the x52 would be my next choice.

Like a lot of people say the Logitech X3d Pro is a very good joystick.
IMO you can fly a chopper well with a keyboard but a jet requires a stick...

And when u die u can smash it into pieces and rebuild it later! LEGO FTW!']['error wrote:

I would say personally the Saitek Cyborg Evo.. nice little stick, and just enough button.. my brother has the X52, which is a little tougher to get used to , but nice stick also.. i like the button placement of the x52 much better.. not to mention the separate joystick and separate throttle... too bad it's like 3 times the price.. or was.. not sure anymore.. either or I would suggest..

someone should make a lego mod for bf2 lol,be pretty funny to get twatted in the face by lego debri from a blow up heli or armor,& watch those little yellow heads & silly wigs go flying from an m95 shot to the face.
x52 has come down Alot in price, you can pick it up local at bestbuy for 60.00... Im sure you can find it cheaper online.
