BF2S Forums battlefield 2 after one year of playing it...

I remember the old days when l first played... Did'nt know anything about badges or ribbons. First ribbon was the combat ribbon, could'nt belive my eyes when l recived it, chuffed to bits. I remember getting my fiirst unlock (L85A1) and just scrapping my second unlock before the 1.03 patch came out and everyone went from zero to hero in a click of a mouse! I do miss the teamwork of old, only really get a good team going every so often. I still enjoy the game and when others whinge l find myself adapting to whats be3ing thrown at me. For instance l managed to get my Aviators ribbon after patch 1.22 on Kubra Damn, which l was happy with. The only thing that grips me now is if you accidently tk someone or they get attracted to the under side of your vehicle they punish.

my first map i played online was karkand in march when i got a brand new comp and video card.... and I sucked BAD compared to everyone else started with about a .4 k/d ratio but it was fun as hell.... now im up too just above .9  with just about 18000 points and this game is pretty much funner then ever.... but i cant stand the tk'ing for vehicles/karkand exploit and random server/CTD's.... and i never had the chance to play anything other than 1.22 and 1.3 so i never saw the awesomeness of the blackhawk,huge splash damage of grenade launchers.... all i want back from this game is squad hopping and stable servers!!!!! and i wouldnt mind flying around in a blackhawk that could actually shoot and kill somebody for a change instead of now eher they do fuck all

anyway thats how i feel about this game....as it is the BEST game i have ever played even with all its shitty bugs n all i havent even touched my playstation 2 since i have bought this game....

oh, well, this thread brings nostalgia to me!
For the past weeks, I actually stopped with BF2 - mostly because of the World Cup, but also all those SERVER CRASHES!!!!
anyway, I'm planning to return and play at least until I reach the next rank - Captain. I need 10 877 points...
