alright, a few questions/comments

are you sure its unranked?  did someone from EA/Dice say this?

also, if you don't like infantry only, don't play it.  not every server is required to have it and they don't make you play it.

M3Z-X please try and type legibly and take more than 30 seconds to post.  things are easier to read if you use real words and PARAGRAPHS.  you have an enter key, use it.

I don't get the point why InfantryOnly increases Health/decreases Damage.
If i would like to play without vehicles, lets just disable them.
I believe there is a request of InfOnly Server, but there is probably no one out
there who requests a need of TWO headshots with an M95 or
3 well-placed grenades to kill a SINGLE enemy.

Here's a tip: there are no true hitboxes in this game. They are random.

As to the infantry only, as Vegeance said, go play Special Forces. But those changes are retarded, more health and longer respawn kind of negate eachother and make those changes meaningless. Takes longer to die and longer to respawn, fun! Slow games ftl

why loads of people are saying INF modes gonna be unranked only i dont know,fuck what ROE rules say cause that shit was made up by a third party of control freaks.why would they bother changing damage points if it was'nt going to be ranked?.
i think the reason they might have released the patch as an open beta,is because they want to implement the INF mode into the ranked game,giving us a bit of diversity in game type,& giving us a chance to test it & give feedback & ideas to make it better,& find a good balance to keep people happy so they dont end up making another big fuckup like with 1.3 & end up losing customers when its time for 2142's release.
public beta testings only started today & so theres a lot of things that can still be changed & modified (i hope).

i'm all for infantry only mode,i welcome the extra map i like the layout,& an extra choice in what i play,no ones saying anyone has to run inf only servers,no ones gonna be forcing anyone to play on them,so if people dont like the idea dont log onto an inf only server it'll be that simple.
i'm hoping they scrap the extra damage points cause i think it's a dumb ass idea,if their doing it to try & stop people getting insane high scores as if their on K/P servers then that'd be a bit of a tarded way to go.damage should be left how its always been.i've played on the so called "illegal" inf only servers & the only difference
between them & ones with armor are no armor deaths,thats it so wheres the harm in it.
dunno about you but i'm making the most of the testing chance we've been given & listing any bug's/changes i think need sorting to make the game better for everyone,hope you do to.
incase anyone wants to neg me cause i have an opinion then go ahead,karma dont mean shit lol.

Dont like any of that.

They need to leave it exactly the same just get rid of vehicles and artillery and it should be fine.

I dont like all those changes as it turns it into a completely different game, therefore when returning to normal modes you will play really awful, seeing as you will be confused of how many shots to kill people, sat around for ages waiting to spawn ( i bought the game to play it not sit around while others do )

I really dont like this, all we really need is no vehicles or arty, for the only reason that not all kits can stop those things and makes it unfair on those who are playing on foot as they always get the short straw.

I also have no idea why people take it that infantry only is exploiting for points, in my eyes thats the only true fair fighting and the points attained are as balanced as it gets, I think whoever gets the tanks in kark are more exploiting for points and making it unfair. So if anything is going to be unranked it should be city maps with vehicles.


I dont like the sound of it at all.

people are always complaining about how there is only one game play mode so they are putting infantry only to expand our playground. the co-op infantry only is fun i played on the new map today it was enertaining going against the human players.

also i was wondering. if this does go on ranked servers, would ATs still get their anti tank rockets? cause with no armor or vehicles i guess they're only gonna use it on infantry which means more people will start bitching and crying. and i guess only the commander will be going engineer as the only thing to repair is the uav and satellite. with this new infantry mod they are gonna lose 2 classes. guess people will only choose those classes if they wanna use a shotgun.

Its a given this new 'mod' (I call it the new 'fuckup') is going to open a whole new can of worms.
