wtf is all this crashing about?

omg, i load a map (takes like 10 mins) then, finally, when the stupid thing loads and that "Join Game" thing appears, my game crahses to the stupid desktop and i have to start all over again. then it happens again, and i'm like wtf, and now i'm here, telling u guys about it. it has happened like 5 times now, so idn wtf is happening. that "Join Game" button aka "Crash to Desktop" button just pisses me off and ruins my game?

any ideas as to why the heck this is happening.

PS: $20 that its EA/DICE's fault. heh, they always find a way to screw the patches up. well done...

PSS: Once, i loaded my account, and then b4 i got to the main screen you see after it says "connecting to account server" my game just started loading some server that i was trying to get into a while ago and then it crashed.....again. wtf???

lol yea me 2, it has settled down for about a week or so but did it i think 3 or 4 times tonight, sometimes b4 i even hit join game

Before joining server, go to options and tic the box "always ready" or something. Then when you join server, when the join game button appears there should be "auto ready" box nex to it. If it's not tic, tic it. Then just wait for like 15-60 seconds and it should join the game without you pressing the join game button. Why this works, is that sometimes Join Game button appears too early when server isn't ready for you to join and when u try to join server doesn't know what to do because you haven't fully loaded.

If that doesn't work, your bf2 is just now at crash mood.

Edit: If that doesn't work, you could try to install patch 1.3 full. Because incremental patch just replaces some files but may leave old files what causes crash. So first uninstall any booster packs, then SF, then BF2. Then install BF2, then SF, then booster packs, and then patch with full 1.3

Press ESC button instead of join and you will probably be fine... and BETA test 1.4 and see if the chashes are solved...
