When a bad map is being rotaded, when i need a break and when there are too many game abusers..
A fair few reasons that have been mentioned here are why I leave.
I think the biggest for me is a mix of boredom, being tired, having a headache and sometimes from twats in the Z-10 and J-10's on Wake raping the carrier and artillery island.

I'll usually leave for one of a few reasons:
I'm getting motion sickness or headaches from the game. Or, I'm just over the map and looking for something different.
The server is full of retards who team kill, then pull out the old "oops sorry red bug" line. I know there are times this happens, but I have found that some people teamkill intentionally then use it as an excuse. And then they keep teamkilling under the illusion that people will just keep forgiving them for it.
Then there are the retards who repeatedly, and I mean REPEATEDLY initiate kick votes or mutiny votes.
And the retards, who on Wake (and others, but Wake particularly), insist on carrier raping with J10 and arty - ESPECIALLY if this is against the server rules. And of course, the wankers who spawnrape without any intention of capturing the flag.
Now that I think of it, it's mostly retards.

I leave because we empty servers out..... teamplay ftw.
Usually due to unchangable imbalance between the teams. Lately it's bacause my trigger and ring fingers have been hurting like hell from my mouse.

I have an ownage round in a Jet or a Heli and the map changes to Karkand or Mash. (I like Sharqi, but don't heliwhore there)
I get TK'd for a Jet or a Heli repeatedly.
Team gets owned 3+ rounds in a row.
To go to my "Clan"'s server.

I only leave a Server when one or more of the following occurs:
- I wanna command and the Noobs in my Team won't form squads.
- I wanna command, but my Squads don't follow orders.
- I have a commander, that never ever react to my requests send to him either via Commo Rose or VoIP.
- My Team / Squad sucks due to lack of Communication.
- I get pawned several dozen times by the same Aircraft / Chopper Whore.
- Important Real Life Stuff has do be done!
- I wanna command and the Noobs in my Team won't form squads.

I don't leave servers, they leave me - thanks to to the 1.3 patch.

Im one of those people, who has a certain way to play. It gives me a good advantage over people who have never seen me before (I dont bunny hop I clown strafe). So naturally when I play a few rounds on a server people will find a way to counter my strafing, and I gotta find a new server.
Mostly I just hang out on >NN< or TW, or just about any other server that has a good map rotation. People come and go and it refreshes my opponents. If theres very little people left but the game just keeps going, I usually just time pad trasnport :p
