Just been playing like i have been and i was the highest rank on my team(First Sergeant). But on the other side, they had 2 Lieutenant General's a Lieutenant Colonel a Lieutenant Colonel, Captain, 1st Lieutenant and to top it all off there was a Colonel and all they were doing was raping us with apc's/jets/attack choppers


i mean WTF GET SOME FUCKING SKILL!!!

so that was the last straw i have just found project reality and im playing that from now on

Work as a team m8 and you can own them its only a rank doesnt mean the players are better then u .Just means they have been playing longer /more points .Its about getting the guys on the server to work well not just omg he is a colonel his going to prawn us .

In all seriousness - it sounds cheap but you didn't mention if your side had any flags or weapons to use against them - like maybe AA or AT, etc... 

If it's in the game I say exploit it

Good Luck! I was playing on Old Bastards Clan mostly at the weekend and the amount of times that we had 20+ players per side and our team had 8 squads with 1 person in and then 16-17 people running around lonewolfing was pathetic.

Don't these players understand that if your not in a squad the commander can't direct you. And then they'll whine like crazy that the commander dropped artillery on them.

Rank means very little, but higher ranks should mean they have more experience. More experience should mean you know what to expect from others and the more you play the more profecient you should get at more things. Saying that, there are some very good lower rank people and some very poor officers when it comes to skill as well as team work.

Dont think that just because someone is an officer they are a lonewolf points whore. And dont think lower ranks are complete noobs either. Rank just shows experience (then theres those with multi accounts), not skill or how they play. Its those that use there experiences to improve skill and team work that will win.

EDIT:
By looking at your stats you dont seem to have the required skill (KD ratio/KPM/DPM/SPM in all weps/vecihiles) to match it with the officers and your so called team work stats arnt very impressive either, apart form flag points, which are very high and I comend your efforts but that hasnt helped with your W:L ratio, so maybe you should think about which flags you capture or how important it is to capture a flag over staying alive/killing people.

It's not about rank - it's about team work and those who have better accuracy {and ping}.
You guys would win hands-down.

Also, I have a clan member from the UK and most of the rest of us are from the US.  We learned a long time ago that, inherently, UK players play as team m8's and US players are lone wolfs.  Hell, even someone from France can figure out why     

...and u guys from the UK - it's not because we are inbreeders - that would actually cause us to play together more because inbreeders luv to play with each other
I know u Brits are still mad at us because we wouldn't let u on the boat and left u on that god for saken island.

Higher ranks just want to earn those last medals and so they do tend to rape like crazy, and appears to be true in over 60% of who I ever see ingame.

They really should make the autoteambalance options take into account peoples ranks. Ive seen many a time, a team full of ranks of Lt+ against Sgts and Pvts - whom always lose (mainly due to in-experience).
So that should be balanced out a bit in the coding imho.

Stats have nothing to do with teamwork so your point about my k/d ratio is muted

My spm is not bad just over 2+

If you read my post about requesting a clan i state iam NOT  a armour/jet/heli whore i love ground pounding and working alongside my fellow players.

Its hard to still alive and get a decent k/d ratio unless i adopt a armour/jet/heli whore nature which i will not do.

Ranks and stats like i have said before DO NOT win games players and teamwork do .

Erm........Calm down ladies, you know another thing that most dont consider, is your computer.

E.g, my self for the past year, iv played this game on low, and still it was choppy, as such, i kinda do suck a tad, recently (erm, last friday) I got my self a new graphics card, and upgraded my ram.

Went into a karkand server and clocked up a score of 250 (using all kit's, never once went into a tank or apc) so next time u 'own' someone, maybe he's having more problems than u, and also you need to consider, the circumstances of the given situation, and the players around.  Someone mentioned, how you see officers all on wake, raping the carrier, while some privates and sergant's strugle to score a god dam point.  Which ofcourse, in a way will explain how they got tht damm rank in the 1st place, 75% of officer's i have encoutered whore some sort of vehicle.

My self, I'm captain, and I don't really consider my self better than anyone lower than me......(except 1st lt's single bar NOOBS) I admit a few gunnery serg's have kicked my ass once or twice, but also, i'v shown a few colonel's how it is done.

But what i would really like to say is.......IT IS A DAMM GAME, if you base ur ego on being able to get a fucking commander spot over some noob private then oooo dear God get a life son.

1) Leave the server.

2) Fight real hard and get better at the game. The best skills are made when the odds are agenst you.

hm well, if the server rules allow baseraping there is nothing you can do about it, but yeah, maybe find yourself another server to play?! As I see here most of you guys are from the EU, and if you want to play the game how it should be played, join the BF2s EU server. Theres a lot of diffrent ranks but the most important thing, there is a bunch of teamwork You can find the Ip on the Home of these forums. Give it a try.

Anyways, there is nothing anybody can do about baseraping high ranks, so I´ll close this one.
