New to the forums here - but running into a little problem. Asked a few others, and none knew what could possibly be the problem. Game opens and runs fine. Have everything maxed out and it's flawless. When I finish playing and close out the game, everything looks alright. But if I try to start the game again, it won't open. It begins to open, but just stops. I have to restart the computer before the game will boot up again. Any ideas..? I'm running BF2 with all expansions/boosters, patched to 1.3. Tried it with the 1.4 beta and still nothing. Any support would be amazing. Thanks a ton in advance.

I had that problem myself, I'm not sure how I fixed it though. The only thing I could say is that after it closes, it might still be running in the background. Press ctrl+alt+delete to make sure it's completely closed before you try to run it again. Hope that helps.
I have the same problem. it only started after the 1.3 patch. The 1.4 beta patch also has a topic on the ea forums for problems like this you may want to report it there so they can fix it.

Sorry for my bad English, but try to remove the CD and put it in again then launch the game with the CD.
Thanks for the replies. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, using the BF2 CD and BF2:SF CD. And to no avail, same problem. I tried out the 1.4 beta last week and same problem. Eh.
