coke rules the south, down here, if you ask for a coke you are likely to be asked what flavor, though the trend is fading, since originally the jerks just added....say....cherry syrup to get cherry coke, if you ask for pop people think of popsiclesKaosdad008 wrote:

and I always took "flat" to be something more like an apartment or a condo
edit: "jerks" were the employees that operated the coke machines, as they had to "jerk" the handles of the various flavors, originally "soda jerk"
