Ive noticed after seeing peoples stats that my Gold/Silver/Bronze star amounts SUCK. But after looking, ive noticed that I have a lot more expert/veteran badges then people that are close to me in global points. I only have 2 basic badges left, one of which I only need 3 more hours in, and it feels better to me to have more veteran and expert badges then the people close to me in rank and global score instead of having big gold/silver/bronze star amounts. I also like that fact that instead of whoring one kit, I have over 60 hours with every kit and have been evening out the time, so I will get the expert kit badges all around the same time. So my question is to you, start noticing peoples stats that are close in global score and rank to you, and see if you would rather have more expert and veteran badges then them, or more gold/silver/bronze stars then them

no i never actually added them...just noticed general amounts of other peoples stars when looking at stats
There are lots of points to cover, but if you have Exp Tank/Plane/Helichopper badge, they dont count. And then again, there are people who whore the battlefield with tanks/planes/choppers and get gold medals.... but I think the medal thing wins. (Confused?)

bah i could care less about what badges certain people have over me. in the end of the day its all about how you perform in the game and if you're having fun or not. just look at some of the people in my sig. they got more vet and expert badges then me.
I count the Badges... I have all my Infantry Expert badges, and only have 1 basic (tanks) and 3 Vets (Jets, Heli and commander)
I never look at the Gold Medals and such unless i'm in BFHQ...
I think i have a decent number of Gold Medals and such for my time spent.
I got 154 Bronze, 164 Silvers, and 156 Golds.

i play for fun and i know thats what counts, but i still find it interesting to see if people get their golds by maybe just using one vehicle/method or if people even out time like i do...Souljah wrote:

In all honesty, neither. I have the medals and badges that are appropriate to me with my style/level of play (with one or two exceptions where I was robbed blind! )
If I really wanted more gold/silver/bronze I could aim for them specifically I guess but when you don't it's a nice surprise when you do get one. With the combat medals I could sure get those in a hurry if I wanted to but I really don't.
