in the US constitution it says the right to bear arms MAY NOT BE INFRINGED. and it also says citizens can form a militia.
The way I was taught to understand the constitution is that we, as citizens, have a moral and civic duty to protect our nation no matter who the fuck is threatening it.
That means you have guns, food and knowledge. Every male is a militia member between the ages of 18-55.

omfg I love it when 10 year old try to debate. First I would like to say it is illegal to drink and drive and if someone catches you well lose you licenses or even go to jail. Second a car is not someone first choise when looking to kill someone it is to big and heavy to walking into a house or school with. 3rd car serve a important purpose in the world unlike guns cars and vehicles are needed to do may things that drives the world economy guns do not. As for the car thing, more people are killed on US roads each year, so in order to save lives do we ban cars? More people are killed by doctors screwing up each year than be firearms, so do we ban doctors? All you have to do is look at the yearly FBI crime reports and you'll see there are FAR more defensive uses of firearms than criminal uses.
