Though, I don't agree with it being more dangerous in the US.
The problem with gun control is this country is it's borders. You can't isolate the borders and you can't shut them down.
If you were to ever ban everything in this country. Which I might add, would be impossible. Not difficult, not "would take a while"... flat out.. impossible.
But IF, IF you were able to, the borders would still be open for illegal arms to make their way in.
Criminals would have guns, and legal citizens would be defenseless.
I would rather live in a state where a criminal has to think twice about performing an act, because an 80 year old grandma could have a hammerless snub nosed .38 special in her purse. Where a 21 year old could be packing a 15 shot 9mm Glock on his waisteband, where a 52 year old office worker could be carrying a Colt 1911A1 with 7 shots of .45ACP. All 3 of these individuals trained, able, and willing to do what is necessary to prevent harm agains those who don't deserve it.
I would rather live in a state where a criminal has to think twice about his acts and where I have a God given right to the opportunity to even the odds against those who could do harm to myself or my family. I have a right to live, and anyone who threatens that right, better be willing to stare down the sights of a Glock 19.

pretty cool I have about 35 rifles from the WWI to WWII era. None have that Scary black plastic that scares the Rabbit people so much. But I bet if I wrapped one in Electrical tape they would freak.
