I am making this thread, simply so that people can either agree with me, disagree with me or POST THEIR OWN ISSUES WITH THE GAME!!!!
My brother has a ranked server that he used as infantry only and no commanders, so that people could fight with guns, like the good old days, without having to worry about getting 'Cartilleried' or artilleried everywhere you go.....you could have a full game that involved SWAT like tactics, such as hiding in buildings to avoid enemy fire, holding stalemates with the opposition and actaully using squad tactics to take out the enemy, unlike most other servers.
This server was shut down by EA, because according to them it is...'a way for players to gain an unfair advantage over other players'
HOW?!?!?! Everyone is doing the same thing!
If they are refering to gaining combat badges etc...through playing on that server then all i can say in response to that is...'WHATS A BADGE?!' a badge is merely 'bragging rights' AND YOU HAVE TO BE GOOD IN ORDER TO GAIN THE BADGES ANYWAY!!!
ON ANY OTHER SERVER YOU CAN GAIN THESE BADGES THROUGH SIMPLY BEING A COMMANDER OR USING TANKS TO GET THE KILLS.
ON OTHER SERVERS YOU CAN SIT IN A TANK, HELICOPTER, CAR, PLANE, TOW, STINGER ETC WITHOUT ACTUALLY USING IT FOR 10 MINUTES AND GET THE BADGES FOR EACH OF THEM, AND YET EA GET PISSED OFF ABOUT OUR SERVER?!?!?!?! IN MY HUMBLE OPINION...THAT MAKES NO SENSE!

They are a few more rules to take all power away from the people who PAY FOR THE SERVER!!!
So, in closing, all i am saying is that i believe that, instead of spoiling everybodys fun by closing servers and taking all control away from administrators, who pay for the server. They should concentrate more on fixing their shoddy, crashing, glitching, computer crashing software and LET THE ADMINISTRATERS HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT THEY PAY FOR!!!
$200 PER MONTH IS A LOT OF MONEY TO SHELL OUT, JUST TO BE DICTATED TO BY A GUSTAPO LIKE COMPANY!!!!!
They need to fix:--
the kick to desktop glitch!
the random crashes!
the fact that aimbot can be used!
the cheat that allows people to shoot you from the other side of the map!
'Cartillery'!
the ability to artillery uncaps!
Thats just to name a few!!!
WE HAVE BEEN WAITING NEARLY 2 YEARS FOR EA TO MAKE 1 PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT DOESN'T DESTROY OUR COMPUTERS, AND INSTEAD ALL WE GET IS OUR RIGHTS TAKEN AWAY AND PUNISHED!!!
