The benefit of disappearing UAV is good enough by itself IMO, but OTOH why not?
Higher on my prio list would be a "UAV spotted" option though. When it appear above you it's time to stop fooling around and attack the target, because they are going after you.

i shoot down UAVs all the time just because it's fun. sure taking it away from the enemy should be motivation enough, but the same could be said of the scan/arty/uav trailer.
