Hi!

First of all, this is not posted in the Complain section because I find it rather amusing and insightful.

1.Why is nobody at the tips of the island?
2.Why do people don't spawn at the spot where they got their tank in the first place and make sure that it is occupied at all times?
3.Why does nobody guard important points of the map?
4.Why do people choose the Spec-Ops class if nobody of these people tries to sabotage anything?
5.The artillery gets destroyed on Wake for sure, but how many times do you see a sneaky James Bond typ of guy blowing up the UAV?
6.Why do commanders always reject your supplies-request the moment you request?
7.Why do commanders do not accept the drop where the squadleader wants it to but always have to place it in the most inconvienient, dangerous or just plain stupid place instead?
8.This leads to the next question: Why do these retards refuse to do the job which is in the job description of their class?

I guess there are some things which apply to other maps aswell, but since I play a lot of Wake Island I chosse this map as an example.
It's kinda sad that BF2 is usually played by total idiots who only care about their own points, the game could be so much more with a real team and real teamwork.

So,discuss...
1. At 24/7 wake  only maps there is 1 tank at every westpoint usually, among jeeps.
On rotation servers people just take a break and sunbath , swim and enjoy the scenery
2. Because on Wake  jets/choppers in bikini  look more sexy
3. depends on the commander(spotting incursions and giving orders to defend)  and the  team
4. they do on 24/7 wake maps usually; but its much harder to land - and survive - on mini island as PLA
spec op, than it is to airdrop/ drive as US spec op.
5. IF the PLA arty is blown, i  ususally see the UAV  been blown up soon after
6. because they sometimes have 3 squads yelling for supplies, loading takes time also.
7. depends on the quality of the commander
8. inexperience, no situational awarenes, not able to use minimaps/symbols

On the whole i agree with you - in the Wake example- :
80 % of players act like sheep: they flock together to be handsome arty-fodder for commanders
20 % use their brains and move, go, and cap flags etcetera

My questions for the Wake players are:
1.Why do i never see US jet pilots (squadleaders/ hint: spawn!) use the F35, which is no match against any decent J10 pilot anyway, use it as a fast transport to the main base/airfield of PLA, and take the PLA airfield flag ?
It is THE best win for US to win the map: no more J10 for the PLA and an additional F18 for the US as bonus !

question concerning other maps too:
2. why do players seldom SPOT ENEMY PLANES: they are the biggest threat to ground AND air troops; also why do commanders not do this or recognize this ?

Usually Wake matches boil down to armor management.  There are 3 tanks: one at Airfield, one at North Village, and one at South Base.  If the US grabs North Village and South Base, they are coming to Airfield with two tanks up against one.  Usually that one crucial tank was driven by a J10 whore over to the top of the airstrip so Airfield is left undefended.  Sometimes an idiot will take the tank from Airfield and drive it up to either tip of the island and Airfield has no chance whatsoever.  Even after Airfield is taken, snipers, armor, jeeps just sit there waiting for someone at the other end of the island to go capture Airfield back.  Meanwhile the pilots in the J10 are wondering "wtf are they doing down there?"  Thats how Wake matches usually go for me when the US wins.

The unbalanced map bullsh*t is just an excuse for all the lamers who can'T get their asses off the carrier,if you are fast at the start of round you can make it to shore before the Chinese are done teamkilling each other over the J10.
And then get killed by the tanks coming up the the shore/snipers/marauding Z-10s/J-10s randomly bombing the shores, not to mention the Chinese troops who are respawning at the point every time they die. If the USMC doesn't get on shore immediately and cap a flag, they'll have a hard time the entire match and will probably lose. It can be near impossible to overcome the combination of shore defenses and air superiority that the Chinese have on the map.
