Hey all...

What a harsh way to get back in the game!!!! I started playing BF2 again after a 6 months break this week. I tried my hand a Karkand since it was one of my favorite maps. I managed to get 3 medals : 1G, 1S and 1P... P as in Purple Heart! Wow, I got owned BADLY in one game! I finished 5-21, and everyone was quicker than me on their guns! Not to say the many times I turned the corner to come face to face with a tank or an APC!

I was 4-21 in that game, and the tickers were like 98-2 (Our team sucked badly... no coordination at all) It was a matter of seconds before the game ended. I saw this US guy walking ay least 50 meters from me near a wall. I got my grenade launcher, and threw him a grenade... Well what do you know, right on target, and I hear the drum roll and I see the Purple medal... Nooo NOOOOOOO!! And the game ends!!! Curse that damn soldier walking near that wall!!!! lol I never thought I was an excellent player, but neither a bad one (I had like a 1.7 K/D which is okay). Was one of those games! And the purple medal will always make me remember that my ass was handed to me on a plate!!!

Oh well, I'm glad to be back online.

Heh, well I usually played well on the map. But either I was way rusty, or everyone has gotten way better on that map! But I did managed to get some points in, like I said got 2 medals... But those are 2 medals out of like 15 rounds!

And yes, I have 1.3 installed. I did it Thrusday night to be patched up to the latest version (Ignoring the 1.4 beta)I'm thinking about getting Special Force though... Is it worth it? It's only 25$

Not often one regrets actually making a shot

It's funny about the Purple Heart, you get it for sucking, but not sucking really terribly. Like if you went 2 for 50 you wouldn't get one. If this is only your first don't feel too bad, many people have gotten it more than once; I have three or four.

I think so, if only to give you the tier-two unlocks! But really there are some excellent maps in SF.
